Clackamas Community College is a public, two-year institution located about fifteen miles south of Portland, Oregon with views of Mt. Hood. The location and setting of the college is diverse and offers something of interest for almost anyone. Our campus is conveniently located in Oregon City, a safe and historic community. It is close to Portland, the largest city in Oregon, the lovely ocean beaches of the Oregon Coast, and the spectacular Cascade Mountains. Founded in 1966, Clackamas is fully accredited and is one of Oregon’s fastest growing community colleges. It serves over 7,000 full time students. The college offers certificates in professional/technical areas as well as two year Associate of Arts and Science degrees. The Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer (A.A.O.T.) degree can be earned at Clackamas. Students who earn an A.A.O.T. degree may enter one of Oregon's 4-year universities as a third year student.
